Jessica Cox Shares Testimony on Faith Transformation

Jessica Cox is the first and only armless pilot, earning the Guiness World Record in 2010. She is also a black belt in Taekwando, scuba diver, licensed driver and pianist.

On Saturday, October 26th Jessica will share her testimony of transformation in faith.

Arizona Rosary Celebration Dinner

Plan now to attend the Arizona Rosary Celebration Dinner. It will be held on Friday, Oct 11 at Ss. Peter & Paul Parish, Gramer Hall at 7:00 PM.

Guest speaker Fr. James Presta will be present.

Dinner will be a homemade lasagna dinner.  Cost is only $10 per person.

Special Olympics Needs Volunteers

Special Olympics of Southern Arizona needs volunteers for 2 events in September.

1. Coronado Area Fall Games on Saturday September 7th  at Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center and Dell Ulrich Golf Course (Reid Park).

2. Coronado Area Area Softball Competition on Saturday September 14th at Conquistadores Field of Dreams (Quincie Douglas Park).

PGK Don Boule update

PGK Don Boulé was released from the hospital this afternoon and is resting at home. He still has a way to go before he is back on his feet and 100%. Please continue to keep Don and his family in your prayers and lets hope for a speedy recovery.

Registration Fee: $10.00 per candidate, payable at the door
Lunch: $7.00 served after the 3rd Degree
Coffee and doughnuts will be available to non-candidates before the 2nd degree.

To aid the host council to properly prepare for the 2nd and 3rd degree exemplification, please contact the host council and provide the number of candidates and members who plan to attend.  This RSVP is requested by August 7th, 2013.

At registration, all candidates must show a valid 1st Degree Membership card and their registration fee will be collected.  Members must also show a valid 3rd degree membership prior to entry into the ceremony.  It is important that candidates be escorted by their sponsor or someone from their council.

The exemplification of the 2nd and 3rd Degree is a special event, one that will be always remembered.  Therefore, proper dress is required of the candidates and members attending the degree.  The requested attire of collared shirts, slacks, and shoes are considered appropriate dress.  Shorts, tank tops, tee-shirts, and sandals are not considered acceptable dress for candidates and members.

Please keep Don Boulé and his family in your prayers.

Don had back surgery on Monday, all went well had he was sent home Monday evening. On Tuesday he was taken to the emergency room and put in the hospital with Menigitis. Yesterday evening Don was moved to the ICU.

He is doing better but not up to visitors or telephone calls at this time. Please keep Don and his family in your prayers.
